The Veltic lures are weighted spinners with an elongated blade that rotates close to the axis.  They spin perfectly, even when retrieved slowly. A paperclip closure makes changing the treble hook easy.

The secret: smooth-running ball mechanism and a balanced blade.

A great spinner for trout and perch in rivers, canals, etc.
