The Monkey fly copper tube pattern has climbed straight to the top of the salmon angling tree as dare you leave home with out one. It is a Scandinavian Sunray Shadow styled fly but with a lot more presence in the water. The long wing on this fly dances through pools and runs with devastating results. Tied on copper a tube the Monkey is a catcher in the big flows in February and will fish right through the season. Great cold water fly.
